CalcIt 9.0
CalcIt is a small, compact, versatile, and freeware programming tool to be used by power computer users, programmers, and IT department members. Its user interface incorporates a powerful but simple and easy to learn language to process numeric or alphanumeric data, text files, and any kind of file at binary level. Automation/COM objects can be accessed as well. CalcIt provides an appropriate editor (with syntax highlight) to write code and the ability to organize and store independent pieces of code in a hierarchical list, then offers some very flexible ways to make use of these codes (execution). The user can pick code, pass data to its parameters, and execute it. A debugging tool is also available. Additionally the user is now able to create his/her own custom forms very easily. Also is able to create standalone CalcIt eXecutable files that can be copied or e-mailed to any other computer/user and run there. In Version 8.6 a Visual Form Designer is provided among other improvements. New in version 9.0 is the ability to call exported DLL functions.
